Mary Our Heavenly Mother
There is so much we can learn from our Blessed Mother Mary. Mary, our mother, is our model and teacher in the ways of being children of God. She teaches us and guides us through her words and example.
She teaches us to love God above all things and how to say yes to the Father’s will; how to cooperate with the Holy Spirit; how to receive blessings and great things from God; and she teaches us how to pray and how to worship God.
On this Solemnity we are reminded that Jesus was devoted to his mother and that he gave her to us. So we in turn are encouraged to be devoted to Mary as our heavenly mother.
