Jesus, I’m All In For You

Jesus, I’m All In For You

Lord, will only a few be saved? Jesus gives us warnings about presumption. Just because we are Catholics attending mass, it is no guarantee that we get into heaven. Everyone is invited into salvation but each must strive to enter through the narrow gate. Bishop Barron discribes it as striving to be on the path of discipleship. Or you could replace strive with agonize. Agonize to be on the path of discipleship. Being a disciple requires us to say, Jesus I’m all in for You! It’s not just liking Jesus, it’s becoming like Jesus and following Him even when it’s difficult. It is also about inviting others into discipleship. We are not expected to be perfect but we want to keep working at it; and to put our hope and confidence in Jesus and who He is and in what He has done for us on the cross.
