Don’t Be a Distracted Disciple

We all know the dangers of distracted driving. Many scholars agree with Luke’s message of Jesus communicating commitment and discipleship. We can’t be distracted disciples.

Jesus is on a mission fully dedicated and focused on the will of His Father and this often found Him rejected. Jesus rebukes James and John for being distracted. When we try to follow Jesus and still pay attention to worldly views we are distracted.

Jesus even when rejected is still able to love all he encounters and we are called to do the same.
