Our Father desires to spend time with you more than you can comprehend; He is longing for it. Like all healthy relationships, our relationship with God must be grounded in good communication. It is when we spend time with the Lord that he changes our hearts. God’s voice to us is heard as a “still small voice” (1 Kings 19:12), like a whisper. Perhaps this is because He desires to pull you close more than He desires telling you what to do. Nevertheless, we must learn to hear this whisper by scheduling time to talk with Him every day.
