Fr. Tim Devine was born into a Catholic family with one older brother in Kitchener, Ontario in 1974. Fr. Tim attended the University of Waterloo for three years towards an undergraduate degree in psychology. Feeling a growing desire to give his life more wholeheartedly for the Lord, Fr. Tim discovered the Companions of the Cross and, after meeting with Fr. Bob Bedard, he was accepted to become an applicant in the fall of 1996. He was ordained to the priesthood in November 2002. He ministered in Halifax at various parishes until 2007. Then, he ministered in Ottawa until 2023, most recently serving as Pastor of St. Maurice Parish for twelve years. He is presently Pastor of Holy Trinity Parish.
Fr. Tim has been blind from birth, but that doesn’t slow him down or limit his joy. Fr. Tim always has the brightest smile in the room!
