What is the purpose of Growth Groups?
Our mission at Holy Trinity Parish is to make and equip disciples who joyfully go and invite others to Jesus. Being part of a Growth Group can help each of us in our discipleship journey by creating a community where:
- We are known, loved, and cared for
- We help each other become mature in Christ

What is a Growth Group?
A Growth Group is a small group of Christians who “do life together.” The
group members’ growth is reliant on the Holy Spirit and supported by four cornerstones:
- Fellowship
- Learning
- Discussion
- Prayer
Each growth group is supported by two facilitators (leaders), who are supported by the
Grow Together coordinator. Groups meet together 2 to 4 times a month, for a couple of
hours.
Want to learn more about facilitating a Growth Group?
● Do you get excited by helping others grow in their faith?
● Do you enjoy welcoming people and helping them feel at home?
● Do you like listening and guiding discussions more than teaching?
● Do you have the gifts of faith, encouragement, pastoring, leadership, or hospitality?
Ask Jesus if He is calling you to serve our parish as a Growth Group facilitator.
For more information or to come and see how you may be able to use your gifts,
contact Joanne Albrecht at joanne@holytrinityns.ca.

Let us know! Please reach out to our Grow Together coordinator.
Please pray with us! We envision a parish where we are strengthened in community. Our prayer
is that Jesus will call and equip many people to serve as Growth Group facilitators. Our
hope is that each of us will belong to a group where they are known, loved, and cared
for, where we help each other become mature in Christ (Ephesians 4:11-16). Please join us in this prayer for our
community.
