Lent

Lent

Lent 2022: Lent starts on Ash Wednesday March 2nd and lasts for 40 days. Ash Wednesday Masses will be at 9am (live-streamed), 4:30pm and 7pm. Lent is a time of prayer, fasting and almsgiving. We invite you to examine your life and invite Christ into it in a new way this Lenten season. There are some great Lenten resources on FORMED including Lent with Brother Francis for the children in your life! You can also check out The Bible App and sign up for one of the many Lenten Catholic bible studies.

Ash Wednesday: Thank you to all who joined us for Ash Wednesday! If you haven’t had a chance to partake in an Ash Wednesday Mass feel free to go back and watch our live-stream from this morning

Rosary: For the duration of Lent we will be praying the rosary before weekday Masses Tuesdays- Fridays at 8:30am.

Stations of the Cross: Every Friday during Lent we will be praying the stations of the cross at 7pm in person.

Parish Mission: St Benedict Parish has invited us to be a satellite location for their Lenten Parish Mission March 20-22 at 7pm in person at Holy Trinity Parish. Mary Maher & Eleanor Seagraves and members of Regnum Christi who work for the Archdiocese of Chicago will be joining us via a live video. We will be exploring a deep dive into prayer as a place of revealing our identity as children of God. It will be great to gather in person together again!
