Welcome to the HTP Connection for Holy Trinity Parish, our Weekly News Bulletin. Arriving in your email inbox every Thursday morning, it will be your connection to important events and information from HTP!

Let’s Invite Everyone to Celebrate Christmas at HTP!
Are you planning to attend the Sackville Tree Lighting on Saturday, November 29th, from 6–7 pm at Acadia Park on Sackville Drive? This is a wonderful opportunity to extend a warm invitation to our Sackville neighbours to join us for Christmas Mass at Holy Trinity. To help make inviting easy, Christmas invitation business cards are available for pickup at the Welcome Desk in the foyer. These cards include a friendly invitation to celebrate Christmas with us, along with our Christmas Mass times.A personal invitation to those in our community and to your friends and loved ones is a simple but powerful way to share the Good News of Jesus’ birth this Christmas.Let’s reach out with joy and welcome others into the celebration!

Envelopes Ready for Pickup
The 2026 weekly offering envelopes are now ready for pickup. You’ll find them on the table in the foyer in alphabetical order by your last name. When collecting your set, please take a moment to confirm that the name on the box is yours. Occasionally, envelopes are picked up by mistake, which makes it difficult to accurately record donations and ensure they are assigned to the correct person. If you do not have weekly offering envelopes and would like to have them, or if you would like to enrol in a pre-authorized giving option (PAR), please see Shelley Clee, and she would be pleased to assist you.

Thank you for your help and cooperation!

Washroom Reminders
Recently, our plumbing was down due to pipe blockages in our washrooms. A reminder that items such as sanitary products, wipes, paper towels, etc., should be disposed of in the bins provided in the stalls and in the garbage.

Parish Coffee and Conversation Gathering
All parishioners are invited to gather for Coffee and Conversation on Tuesday, November 25 in Seton Hall (downstairs) between 9:45 and 11:30 am. Drop in any time. Bring a friend, make a friend, invite a newcomer to the parish to join you or catch up with old acquaintances. All are welcome! Snacks and beverages will be provided.  Please note that if this gathering needs to be postponed due to weather or a funeral reception, a note will be posted on the church door, and the event will be rescheduled. We look forward to seeing you.

Worship Nights: Save the Date Here

At Holy Trinity Parish
On Friday, December 5th, at 7:00 pm, we will have our first Ignite Night of Praise. Come for worship music and singing, a brief talk by Fr. Michael, and an opportunity for to gather socially afterwards.
 At Saint Benedict Parish
There are also a few nights of worship we wanted to highlight at our sister Companions of the Cross Church, St. Benedict Parish: Friday, Nov 28, at 7:00 pm, they will host Proclaim – a more contemporary worship music night.
Dec 12 at 7:30 pm, an Advent Gregorian Prayer Night – traditional older chants.

Let’s take opportunities to prepare our hearts for the coming of Jesus at Christmas through prayer!

Turkey Bingo
Knights of Columbus Turkey BINGO will be held on Wednesday, November 26th, in the St. Elizabeth Seton Hall at Holy Trinity Parish. Doors open at 6 pm, games start at 7 pm. All are welcome!

Advent Family Wreath Making
To help us enter the Advent Season, on Saturday, November 29th, the Knights of Columbus will be hosting a family Advent Wreath-making event in Seton Hall at St. John Vianney! The event runs from 10 am – 12 pm and light refreshments (hot dogs and hot chocolate!) will be provided. The Knights will supply the boughs for the wreaths, along with the candles to mark the weeks, but it’s recommended that families bring their own limb clippers to help make their wreath. If you’re able to make a small contribution, the Knights ask for a $10 donation per wreath to help offset costs, but the donation is not required to participate. If your family is interested in attending, please RSVP to Ernie MacIsaac (ehmisaac@ns.sympatico.caby November 24th, letting him know how many attendees from your family will be coming, and how many wreaths you’ll want to make. Hope to see you there as we prepare to celebrate the season of Advent!
