| Financial Report This year, we are committed to providing you with quarterly updates on our financial results, and we are pleased to let you know that our January to March 2025 update can now be found on our website by clicking here. We are pleased to report that, although we show a negative result for the quarter, we are ahead of budget. Our high winter expenses for fuel, snow clearing, and electricity are now behind us. In fact, preliminary April numbers show us with about a $5500 surplus for that month (which includes Easter), so we are headed in the right direction. Yves after Masses June 22 @ 9 am Confirmations June 22 Corpus Christi procession after 11:15 am mass June 7th Pentecost Praise and Worship Vigil Celebration Join your fellow parishioners on June 7th at 7:00 pm in the church, the Saturday evening leading into Pentecost Sunday. Come celebrate the birthday of the church. We are asking everyone to please bring a snack or goodies to share at the end of the evening at the reception in the foyer. This is an important time for our parish community to gather together with one voice and heart as we express our yearning and need for more of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Come with an expectant heart and an openness to the Holy Spirit. May we journey together towards becoming explosively alive in the Holy Spirit. You Are Invited to our 2nd Annual Change Makers Bar b Que! Jesus has asked that we cooperate with His mission and you have stepped up! We want to recognize everyone who volunteers in our parish whether in small or big ways. The Celebrating Changemakers Dinner will be on Thursday June 12th at 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm in Seton Hall and is open to anybody who has served in our parish this last year. To RSVP, click HERE. You can also sign up in the foyer at the Welcome Desk. Gluten free and vegetarian options will be available. Steubenville Financial Update Thanks to your generous donations, we have raised almost $7000 towards our goal of $9000 to send our group to Steubenville Atlantic this summer! We are still looking to raise about $2000 towards our goal, and you can help us! E-Transfer: Send funds to finance@holytrinityns.ca and include “Steubenville” and my name in the message. You’ll receive a confirmation once received. Online Donation: Donate to the Pledge Drive online at https://www.metanoiaym.ca/pledge-drive Cash Donation: Drop off donations at the Holy Trinity Parish Office (4 Beaver Bank Road). The office is open Tuesday–Friday, 9:00 am – Noon. Donations may also be dropped in the Sunday Collection in a Special Steubenville envelope until this Sunday! Donations will be delivered this week to Birthright Inc. in Halifax. Your support as always is much appreciated. Reminder that applications for two $500 bursaries will be accepted by the CWL Bursary Committee until Monday, June 1, 2025. Applications may be requested online at stjvcwl101@gmail.com or directly from the parish office. The CHARIS Canada Conference 2025, Moncton, NB, June 20-21 You are cordially invited to join the members of the CHARIS National Service of Communion Canada board to celebrate in joy and hope the work of the Holy Spirit in Atlantic Canada for the renewal of the people of God, with prophetic missional prayer and praise, Eucharistic Adoration, talks by leaders in the Renewal in Canada, invocation for a renewed outpouring of the Holy Spirit, fellowship and witness, and Celebration of the Sunday Eucharist for the Feast of Corpus Christi. CHARIS National Service of Communion Canada, established at the request of Pope Francis, strives to network, serve, and support all of the realities and expressions of the current of grace that is the charismatic renewal in the Church today.
