| Welcome to the HTP Connection for Holy Trinity Parish, our Weekly News Bulletin. Arriving in your email inbox every Thursday morning, it will be your connection to important events and information from HTP! Celebrating Our Changemakers! At Holy Trinity Parish, we’re incredibly blessed by a vibrant community of nearly 200 volunteers and leaders who generously give their time and gifts to serve others and carry forward the mission of Jesus. ![]() This week, we are delighted to celebrate Bruce Colborne and Gerald Felix and the incredible leadership, faith, and joy they bring to our parish community through Growth Groups. Having experienced the power of small group communities in their own lives, Bruce and Gerald are passionate about helping other men discover the beauty of walking in faith together. They believe deeply that faith was never meant to be lived alone and that true growth happens in community, through fellowship, prayer, learning, and authentic conversation. Their journey into leadership began when they answered the invitation to join an existing men’s Growth Group at the Knights of Columbus Club. There, they experienced firsthand the impact of Christ-centred brotherhood and learned from leaders who faithfully modelled accompaniment and servant leadership. Inspired by that experience, Bruce and Gerald stepped out in faith to launch a new Growth Group of their own, welcoming new members and helping create a space where men could grow closer to God and one another. What has unfolded since has been truly inspiring. Alongside two men from Holy Apostles Parish, Bruce and Gerald have helped foster not only a thriving new group within our parish but also a spirit of unity and encouragement between parishes. Their willingness to mentor, pray for, and walk alongside emerging leaders is helping build momentum that will reach even more men beyond our own community. Bruce and Gerald’s leadership gifts complement one another beautifully, balancing thoughtful organization with genuine care and accompaniment. Since the group began in January, their enthusiasm, gratitude, and contagious joy have been evident to all who encounter them. We are so grateful for the prayerful and faithful way they continue to lead, encourage others, and help build a culture of discipleship and brotherhood within our parish. Corpus Christi Procession After the 11:15 am Mass on June 22nd, we will have what is called a Eucharistic Procession. This is a chance for us to walk outside (weather permitting) with the Blessed Sacrament as a public display of our faith and adoration of Jesus. During the Procession, you are invited to join in with the Priests, Deacons, and Altar Servers. If you are mobility-challenged, feel free to remain in the church and pray for us as we go out, that our public witness will bear fruit among those who see us. As the Hymn proclaims: O Sacrament Most Holy O Sacrament Divine All Praise and all thanksgiving Be every moment Thine! Confirmations This Sunday This Sunday, at the 9 am Mass, we will celebrate the Confirmation of 10 young Catholics and the initiation into the Church of 2 members of our RCIA! Archbishop Dunn will be joining us to preside at the Mass and administer the sacrament to our Confirmandi, and we look forward to welcoming him, as well as the families and guests of our Confirmandi, as we bring these young people into the fullness of the faith. To accommodate these Confirmation families, several pews in the center section will be reserved for these youth, their families, and guests. All are welcome to attend the Mass as usual and to join in this momentous step in their relationship with the Lord; however, please be aware that the church may feel a little fuller than usual! Come and Gather at the Well Registration for Ora Ministry’s Gathering at the Well is still open! All women are invited to a beautiful morning of prayer, testimony, small group discussion and praise as we are filled up by the Well of Living Water this Saturday, June 6 at 9:30 am. Bring a friend! Attendance is free, but registration is required. Click here to register. Please let us know you’re coming. If you are able to bring a food item to share, that would be appreciated – but know that this is a fully optional contribution. Your presence is more than enough! We’ll make sure there is coffee and refreshments! Come and start your summer season with encouragement, fellowship, and praise!
