Ministry of Care and Companionship

Parishioners of Holy Trinity Parish who are unable to attend Mass due to either long- or short-term illness, age, or mobility problems are encouraged to contact the parish office at 902-865-2112 Ext. 0 or by email at office@holytrinityns.ca and ask to receive Holy Communion at home. You may also pick up a referral card on the table in the foyer of the church. You will be contacted by a member of the Ministry of Care and Companionship and arrangements will be made. 

Youth Ministry

Join us this Sunday, February 25, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Hall for Youth Night! Every second Sunday night is Youth Night at HTP – a night filled with community, prayer, snacks, and more! All teens of the Parish are welcome to attend – no matter where you are in your faith journey! We welcome new teens anytime throughout the year. Steubenville Atlantic Conference

The Steubenville Youth Conferences, an outreach of Franciscan University of Steubenville, are a series of summer time conferences taking place across North America that help teens encounter the love of Christ. This summer, over 50,000 Catholic teens across North America will attend one of 25 Steubenville Youth Conferences to encounter the God who calls us out of darkness and into his marvelous light. Registration is NOW OPEN for the Halifax event, July 5 – 7, 2024, taking place at Saint Mary’s University. Steubenville NOW (Night of Worship)

Looking for a taste of the annual Steubenville Atlantic conference for High Schoolers? Come and hang out on Monday, March 4, from 6:30 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. for some worship, stories from past Steubenville conferences, and a look ahead at this year’s conference! All young people are invited to attend!

Steubenville Information Meeting

Parents and teens are encouraged to attend this planning meeting in the Parish Hall on Wednesday, March 6 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. where we will talk a little bit about the conference, costs, fundraising plans, and information on how to register. Please note, you do not have to be registered to attend this meeting – however it is VERY important to attend if you are interested in fundraising with us!

Invitation to Lenten Mission at Saint Benedict Parish

Lent is coming up! Lent is a time of preparation and focusing on your faith life before Easter. Saint Benedict Parish welcomes us to attend their Lenten Mission this year. The speaker will be Matt Regitz, a Global Leadership Coach with Divine Renovation Ministries. He will be speaking at Saint Benedict Parish, 45 Radcliffe Dr. in Clayton Park, at 7:00 p.m. (AST) on March 3, 4, and 5 (Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday evening). Companions of the Cross Online Event

Calling parishioners, friends and supporters of the Companions of the Cross to participate in this online event that will begin with Holy Mass, celebrated by Rev. Fr. Roger Vandenakker, General Superior, followed by praise, worship and healing rosary on Monday, February 26, 8:00 p.m. (AST)
