This week invites us to slow down, to breathe, and to welcome God’s gentle peace into our homes, our relationships, and our daily moments. May the growing light of Advent guide us toward deeper trust, quieter hope, and the peace only Christ can give. Pastoral Council Discipleship Survey and Parish Plan Update: Thank you to the over 200 parishioners who filled out our parish survey in April 2025! The results of the survey have been compiled, and we want to share them with you! As you read and reflect on the survey findings, we invite you to celebrate the many accomplishments we’ve achieved since the last plan in the fall of 2023. The Pastoral Council are excited to use your input to help us continually build our plans while discerning the direction for our growing parish. Today we would like to share several documents for you that provide:Results of the parish discipleship survey in written and visual form and;An update of the progress on the 2023 Five Year Parish Plan Worship Nights: Save the Dates  Here at Holy Trinity Parish On Friday, December 5th, at 7:00 pm, we will have our first Ignite: Evening of Worship. Come for worship music and singing, a brief talk by Fr. Michael, and an opportunity to gather socially afterwards. Let’s take opportunities to prepare our hearts for the coming of Jesus at Christmas through prayer! Beacon House Christmas Box Program Beacon House is once again seeking the support of the parish for its Christmas Box program. Last year, they distributed 500+ Christmas boxes, and they are hoping to do the same this year. These boxes will include stuffing mix, cranberry sauce, canned gravy and cookies, juice, and a bag of vegetables. Recipients will also receive a gift card for a local grocery store for the cost of a turkey. Holy Trinity Parish has been asked to donate 200 cans of cranberry sauce. Please place cans for donation in the box in the church foyer (under the coat rack) on the way in to Mass. Thanks for your faithful support of Beacon House. Father Eric Theriault Christmas Gift Ministry Our parish is once again supporting the Christmas Gift Ministry for the Mental Health & Addictions Program, providing holiday cheer to inpatients and residents of the Nova Scotia Hospital. We are collecting new, unwrapped, unscented items to support clients—especially men, who make up the majority of recipients. Plus-size items (L and XL) for both men and women are especially appreciated. Suggested donations: winter coats and boots, pyjamas, nightgowns, sweaters, housecoats, underwear, socks, jogging suits, flannel shirts, sweatshirts, t-shirts, gloves, hats, slippers, purses, candy, chocolates, toiletries, make-up, nail polish, music CDs, gift cards, gift certificates, and new books or magazines.Thank you for your generosity in helping bring comfort and joy this Christmas season! Be an Angel The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul invites you to be an Angel to people in our community who are struggling with emergencies throughout the entire year. With the kind donations provided by our parishioners, we help with the basics like power, water, rent and medications, which have to be paid even when a person is ill or loses their job. Our members will be in the church lobby after each weekend mass up until Christmas to answer questions and accept donations. Envelopes are available, and tax receipts will be provided for donations of $10 or more. Thanks for helping us help those in need.
