| Advent Reconciliation Times To aid in our Advent preparation, we have added extra times to receive the sacrament of reconciliation. At Holy Trinity, it will be offered on Dec 20th, 2:30-4:15 pm. It will also be offered at St. Benedict’s on Dec 18th, 6-9 pm. Fourth Week of Advent: Love Made Flesh As we enter the Fourth Week of Advent, our focus turns to love and joyful expectation as we draw very near to Christmas. The Scriptures invite us to reflect on Mary’s faithful “yes” to God and the promise fulfilled in the coming of Christ. This final week calls us to prepare our hearts with trust, humility, and love, making room for Emmanuel, God with us, who comes to dwell among us. Simbang Gabi Mass We will be celebrating Mass for Simbang Gabi here at Holy Trinity Parish on Friday, Dec 19th, at 7 pm. Simbang Gabi is a Filipino Catholic tradition. This service serves both a spiritual preparation for the birth of Christ and a profound expression of Marian devotion. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Christmas Sing-Along & Matinee Movie! Let’s come together for an afternoon of Christmas music led by our youth, followed by a matinee showing of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever! This is a great Christmas activity our parish community can take part in together! Date: December 21 Start Time: 2:00 pm Location: Seton Hall – Holy Trinity Parish Bring the whole family and come celebrate the season with music, joy, and community! Kitchen Care Team Help Dear Parishioners, as we look ahead to 2026, we are hoping to form a small Kitchen Care Team to help look after one of our most important shared spaces – the parish kitchen. We are seeking a team of 2, 3, or 4 individuals who would enjoy taking on the challenge of keeping the kitchen welcoming, functional, and well cared for. This ministry would involve organizing, purging, and cleaning the kitchen on a monthly basis. The commitment is simple and flexible: One day per month, and work at your own pace. This is a quiet but meaningful way to serve the parish. If this opportunity speaks to you, or if you would like more information, please contact shelley@holytrinityns.ca Lost and Found Items At the end of every year, items that have been collected throughout the year and placed in our Lost and Found are sent to Beacon House. If you think you may have misplaced or lost an item while attending Mass or other Parish events, please look through the Lost and Found located above our coat rack to retrieve it. Otherwise, all Lost and Found items will be turned over to Beacon House at the end of December. Thank you.
