| Faith Formation Families Potluck Join Us August 17th for a Faith Formation Families Potluck! Fr Tim Devine and HTP Faith Formation Coordinator Alex Craven would like to extend an invite to all families in the parish who have been recently involved in our Faith Formation programs, or who anticipate being involved in the next few years, to join us and other parish families for a potluck lunch on Sunday August 17th at 12:30 PM in Seton Hall at St John Vianney. The whole family (parents and kids) is welcome! In addition to the fellowship and food, we’ll also have a chance to talk about where our programming is going and to receive your input on what you’d like to see in our programs. Even if your children have recently aged out of youth formation or if they have not yet begun that journey in our parish community, we’d love to have you join us! Fr Tim is very excited about having this conversation with you all on the 17th, and so we hope you can plan to be there! If you are able to attend, please use the following Google Form to RSVP by no later than Friday, August 15th! As it is a potluck, please also include in your RSVP what dish you’ll bring to share! The parish will take care of providing drinks and all the tableware for our gathering, but if you have any questions about what may still be needed, please let me know, and I can provide some guidance. Please also feel free to forward this invite to other families in our parish to prompt them to come as well! Sackville Cares Toiletries Drive Our local churches in Sackville are teaming up to support those suffering from poverty in our community by providing them with toiletries and non-perishable food items. Any donation at all is greatly appreciated. Donations can be dropped off at Holy Trinity Parish Tuesday-Friday, 9 am-12 pm, and on the weekend before or after Mass. Our drive is running until August 31st. Job Opening: Parish Receptionist at Holy Trinity Parish Holy Trinity Parish is seeking a friendly and organized Parish Receptionist to join our team! This key role involves providing administrative support to our priests and staff, welcoming and assisting visitors, and serving as the “face” of our parish. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, support our various ministries, and help create a warm and welcoming environment for all who enter our doors. Outdoor Mass for the Faithful Departed The Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth will be hosting a Mass at Gate of Heaven Cemetery on Sackville Drive, here in Lr. Sackville. The Mass will take place on Wednesday, August 13, at 7:00 pm. This will give people the opportunity to remember their loved ones buried there. Please bring your own chair, and in the event of rain, the Mass will be moved to Holy Trinity Parish.
