| Holy Week Schedule Holy Week is a sacred period leading up to Easter Sunday, commemorating the final week of Jesus Christ’s life, his crucifixion, and resurrection. Throughout Holy Week, we engage in prayer, reflection, and acts of penance as we journey with Jesus through his final days. It’s a time of profound spiritual significance, inviting you to deepen your faith and draw closer to Jesus. Here is our week schedule at Holy Trinity Parish 2025: Holy Thursday: Thu, April 17 – 7:00 pm* Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will continue in the chapel until 10pm note: No 9:00 am mass offered that day Family Stations of the Cross: Fri, April 18 – 10:00 am Good Friday: Fri, April 18 – 3:00 pm* note: No 9:00 am mass offered that day Good Friday Stations Of The Cross: Fri, April 18 – 7:00 pm note: No 9:00 am mass offered that day Easter Vigil: Sat, April 19– 8:00 pm* note: No 4:30 pm mass offered that day Easter Sunday: Sun, April 20 – 9:00 am*,11:15 am Incense will be used at Holy Thursday and the Easter Vigil *livestream available on Holy Trinity Parish YouTube Channel The Octave of Easter Masses 9am April 21-26 Inclusive Octave means an eight-day celebration, that is, the prolongation of a feast to the eighth day inclusive. The Octave of Easter begins on Easter Sunday and concludes on Divine Mercy Sunday. In order to celebrate these sacred days as a parish, we are adding 9 am Masses, Monday April 21, and Saturday April 26. Parish Survey Available! To Complete the Survey Click Here Divine Mercy Novena and Feast Day In preparation for this Feast of Divine Mercy, Our Lord asked that the faithful pray a novena, beginning on Good Friday, April 18, 2025. Each day of the novena has a different intention that is dear to the Heart of Jesus, including all sinners, priests, and religious souls, those of children, those in Purgatory, and finally, lukewarm souls. Copies of the Divine Mercy novena prayer can be picked up in the foyer; please take one. You can also find information about the novena at this website. Our Divine Mercy novena will conclude with a holy hour at the parish on Sunday, April 27, at 2:30 p.m. All are invited to attend. Life in the Spirit Seminar! The Hearts on Fire Prayer Group invites you to experience a powerful journey of faith at the Life in the Spirit Seminar. Join use very Wednesday from April 23 to June 4 at Holy Trinity Parish (St. John Vianney Church, 4 Beaver Bank Road, Lower Sackville, NS). Doors open at 6:15 pm with the seminar running from 6:30 pm to 8:30pm. This transformative 7-session seminar features inspiring videos, personal testimonies, and small group discussions in a relaxed café-style format. The seminar will explore the Baptism in the Holy Spirit an experience that re-ignites the graces received through the Sacraments, empowers you for discipleship, and opens the door to a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit.
