Alpha Registration is Open

At Mass last weekend we heard a wonderful witness from Sharon Moore sharing about her life-changing experience of Alpha. Our next Alpha course begins next week Thursday, September 21st. Registration can be found on our website. There will be Alpha team members in the foyer after Mass again this upcoming weekend and they’d love to answer any questions you might have or get you or your guests signed up!

Reconciliation and Healing Collection

The diocesan collection for Reconciliation and Healing opened this past weekend, September 9-10. Please be aware that an email from Archbishop Dunn will be sent to all donors and contacts inviting people to partner with him in the Archdioceses’ efforts to effect real reconciliation and healing between the local Church and Mi’kmaw communities. Please prayerfully consider how you can give to this collection.

Other Upcoming Events

  • Holy Hour: Tonight, Wednesday Oct.13th at 7pm, join us for an hour of prayer and Adoration for a renewal of faith in our Parish. Thank you to the Knights of Columbus for sponsoring this time of prayer.
  • CWL News:  The Catholic Women’s League of Canada calls its members to grow in faith, and to witness to the love of God through ministry and service.  Being a member of your parish CWL provides women in the parish a sisterhood of support and understanding, a way to act on important social justice issues, an opportunity to serve our community, our country and God, and a chance to live your faith with other women who share it.  Check out our national site:  www.cwl.ca with quick links to testimonies on “Why Become a Member” and “What’s your CWL” and other interesting information about the CWL organization.   Our Parish League meetings are starting back up for our fall session on Tuesday, September 19 at 7:00 pm in our Church Hall.  All women are welcome to attend.
