All Souls Mass
On All Souls Day, Thursday, November 2nd, we will celebrate Mass for All Souls at 7pm. Everyone is welcome to attend, either to support those who have held funerals in the parish over the past year, or to pray for deceased loved ones. For those with friends or family members who might like to join us virtually, we are streaming the event live to our Holy Trinity Parish Youtube channel found HERE.
From October 24-26, Archbishop Dunn, the clergy and parish life coordinators will gather for their annual Study Days. As a result of the study days, 9am Mass at Holy Trinity Parish is canceled on Wednesday Oct 25 and Thursday Oct 26. Please pray for our priests and leaders!

Praying for Peace in the Holy Land
Coverage of the conflict in the Holy Land is as plentiful as it is heartbreaking. The impact of the escalating conflict is being felt all over the world. As we watch from afar many are asking what can we do? Pope Francis has called for a day of fasting, penance and prayer for peace in the world on Friday, October 27. The Pope invites people of every Christian denomination, other religions, those committed to peace to participate in any way they feel is appropriate. Click here for more details.
News from the Archdiocese:
- The 2023 Assembly of the People of God: Join the Archdiocese for a day on November 4, 2023 from 8:30am-4pm at McNally Theatre, Saint Mary’s University. André Regnier, the co-founder of Catholic Christian Outreach (CCO), will be the keynote speaker. André has accompanied thousands of students and staff in their journey of faith for over 30 years. His experiences and lessons have helped develop the CCO’s intentional accompaniment model used by over 80 missionaries across Canada. And since we’re talking about accompaniment, why not invite others at your parish to accompany you to the Assembly. Past attendees have told us they leave the Assembly renewed and excited to share what they’ve learned at their parish. Imagine what could happen at your parish if a whole bunch of us went to the Assembly and brought our experiences back to bear fruit in our community? The deadline to register is October 27 and the cost is $25 which includes lunch. For more information and to register visit: www.halifaxyarmouth.org/assembly
