CWL Father’s Day Raffle
The CWL has 3 great prizes to draw for in their Father’s Day Raffle Sunday, June 18:
- Prizes 1&2: Each receives a 20V 1/2″ (13mm) DeWalt Brushless Compact Drill/driver (each with 2 battery packs, charger, carrying case and manual), donated by BDI Canada;
- Prize 3: 1 tandem truck load of Class “A” crusher run, to be delivered within 30 km; donated by Rocky Lake Quarry.
Tickets available from CWL members and at weekend Masses June 17 and 18. $2 each or 3/$5 Draw date: June 18, 2023. Proceeds from this fund-raiser will support ongoing Council initiatives and commitments in the parish and community.
Farewell Fr. Bryan
Fr Bryan will be moving to Ottawa for his new assignment with the Companions of the Cross in early July. There will be a reception after all the masses on the weekend of June 24-25. Please plan to stay after mass for a time of fellowship.
Bottle Return for Open Door Fundraiser
Please remember to return your coin filled baby bottles by next week, Father’s Day, June 18, to support the Open Door Center Fundraiser. Open Door Centre provides a safe place for youth who experience an unplanned pregnancy. They provide judgment free support as youth make critical life choices.
Hospitality Reception Team
We have a new opportunity for parishioners to serve on a food hospitality team at the parish. Do you love prepping food, shopping for food or catering events, setting a beautiful table or serving in the kitchen in any way? Do you have a heart to serve others and provide an enjoyable celebratory environment of fellowship and food for parish events? Grief Support
Grief support is a non-denominational gathering, and all are welcome to attend and to bring a friend. Grief is normal, grief is hard work and grief becomes easier when shared. If you or someone you know is grieving and could use a safe place for accompaniment on the journey, then please encourage them to give this a try. Wednesday, June 23rd at 7:30pm.
