World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly

To honour the Pope’s request that a weekend close to the Feasts of Saints Anne and Joachim be designated as World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly, the Archdiocese has designated Sunday the 23rd as the day our diocese will honour these beautiful people in our community. There is a Plenary Indulgence for this special occasion and more information can be found HERE. Let us pray:

Lord send your blessings down upon our grandparents and all elderly people who have, throughout the generations, influenced and supported us in our faith, helping us to  be followers of Jesus.  In gratitude for all we have received, let us pray that we continue to open our hearts and minds to their wisdom and experience.

Amen

Let’s Pray for Vacation Bible Camp

HTP Faith Formation is helping kids dive into How Deep and Wide is the Love of God with our Under-the-Sea Vacation Bible Camp this week! Let’s continue to pray for these young people as they grow together while learning about God’s love for them!

Reminder that Adoration is Canceled July 19 & 21

This week, July 17-21, Vacation Bible Camp is being held throughout many spaces in our church. We are cancelling our regular time of adoration today, Wednesday July 19, and also on Friday, July 21, to accommodate the children and leaders during this time. Thank you for your understanding and prayers for these young people!

FORMED

Fr Yves mentioned this great resource in his homily this past weekend. FORMED is an online digital library of hundreds of Catholic discipleship resources. These resources include films, books, study programs, audio resources, and children’s media; all geared towards helping in our discipleship journey. These resources enable us to better know and practice our Catholic faith, through prayer, study, reflection, and even entertainment in an effort that God’s words and invitation to love might be better realized in our lives! If you are a parishioner of Holy Trinity you can get access to Formed completely free! To learn more click here!
