Holy Trinity Parish is excited to help adult Catholics learn more about their faith and grow in appreciation for the gifts that God has given us through his Church. We offer a course in the Fall and in the Winter/Spring each year to support this lifelong learning and discipleship. Please see below for past offerings and what will soon be coming up this year!
Coming this Fall – Magnifica Humanitas
Pope Leo XIV recently published his first encyclical, a primary teaching document for the Church, calling it Magnifica Humanitas, or ‘Humanity in its Grandeur’. In this encyclical, the Holy Father calls all the faithful to a deeper understanding of what it means to be human in the digital age, and what challenges modern technologies pose to the magnificence God created in each one of us. Over 5 evenings this Fall we’ll be reading and unpacking this important teaching document of the Church in a simple and straightforward way to understand the Holy Father’s message more clearly. Sessions run from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM at St. John Vianney church on the following dates:

Past Offerings
In the 2025-2026 ministry year we were pleased to celebrate Pope Leo’s election by looking at the other Popes who bore his name in our “Lions of the Church” series, which you can watch on our YouTube channel HERE (Can you do an embed of the playlist on the parish website so it’s available to play there?)
We also celebrated Lent by journeying through the lives, teachings, and lived example of seven of the Catholic Church’s greatest teachers–The Doctors of the Church. From the time of the Church Fathers all the way up to the 20th century, the doctors of the Church challenge us to understand and follow the Gospel more deeply! Our adult formation is driven heavily by the interest our parish community expresses in topics of faith. Whether it’s the lives of saints, faith-based books, current or historical events, Bible studies, or anything else at all, we’d love to hear from you on what YOU would like to study and how YOU would like to grow in your own knowledge and practice of the faith!
