HTP Connection August 4th, 2026

Dear Parish Family,

I had a great vacation with my family in Kitchener this summer. My brother and his wife, Matt and Kate, flew back to Halifax with me, and we spent one week in Cape Breton and P.E.I. I am rested and ready to work toward planning for the September rush as everything gets up and running again.

I have three updates at present:

Firstly, we have received notice that Doris, who works at the parish front office, is resigning due to some health concerns. Carla Cormier will be filling her position for the time being as a member of our staff. We are grateful to Doris for her time with us in that capacity. She has reassured us that she is quite willing to assist as a volunteer in different ways as her health allows. It will be nice to still have her around the office from time to time.

Secondly, we have successfully hired someone for the Serve Coordinator position previously held by Catherine. Her name is Monica Henry, and she will be starting her role during the week of August 10. We will give a more formal introduction and welcome to the new faces on our staff and committees in September. For now, please keep Monica in your prayers as she learns the ropes and gets settled in.

Finally, the rectory kitchen and bathroom have been renovated, so the house is back to normal again. Thank you for your prayers. It was a much-needed repair and upgrade.

Blessings to all of you as we journey through the remaining weeks of summer.

In Christ,

Fr. Tim
