Celebrating Our Changemakers!
At Holy Trinity Parish, we’re incredibly blessed by a vibrant community of nearly 200 volunteers and leaders who generously give their time and gifts to serve others and carry forward the mission of Jesus.
This year, we are delighted to recognize two incredible women who have stepped up in such a meaningful way through Alpha ministry and leadership development in our parish: Shannon Skanes and Linda Monahan. Shannon’s journey has been a beautiful witness of discipleship in action — moving from guest to helper to host to RCIA participant and now to team coach and leader. She has faithfully stepped up to lead, encourage, and coach others, while also serving on our Pastoral Council. Shannon plays a key role in planning and running Alpha and supporting team training within our parish community. Linda has also faithfully served through Alpha for many years, first as a host and now as a key Alpha leader and coach. She helps oversee the day-to-day running of Alpha, supports team training, and has stepped into a coaching role to mentor and encourage team members in their growth and leadership. Together, Shannon and Linda have played an instrumental role in strengthening Alpha and developing leaders within our parish. This year, they have continued investing in their own growth through a leadership book study and by attending the Alpha Leadership Conference in London. We are deeply grateful for their servant hearts, dedication, and willingness to invest in others. Their leadership, encouragement, and faithfulness have had a tremendous impact on our parish community

Homily Homework
In Fr. Michael’s homily this past weekend, he encouraged the prayer of the Efficacious Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, composed by St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, and notably prayed by St Padre Pio daily. You can find the PDF of Novena Prayer by clicking that link, or if you prefer to hear someone pray it out loud as you join in here is a Youtube Audio of Novena Prayer. God bless you and Happy Solemnity of the Sacred Heart this Friday!
