Knights of Columbus
At Holy Trinity Parish, we are fortunate to partner with groups like the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Beacon House, the Knights of Columbus, and the Catholic Women’s League to serve our community and further Jesus’ mission. This week we are highlighting the good works of the Knights of Columbus.
The Knights of Columbus have tirelessly supported HTP’s mission, often working behind the scenes in various ministries, including Hospitality, Digital Ministry, Liturgy, and Operations. Whether it is planning and preparing the Spaghetti Supper to support our Steubenville Youth, serving leadership positions in the parish, or distributing over 200 coats to kids in Sackville last year, they are always ready to lend a helping hand. Additionally, their financial support for Beacon House and organizational efforts for the Special Olympics highlight their commitment to social justice and community care.

Week of Prayer for Christian Unity:
January 18-25, 2025Saturday, January 18 begins the annual Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. Each year during this particular week Christians worldwide are invited to pray together for the unity of all Christians.  The 2025 theme focuses on the 1700th anniversary of the Nicene Creed. This is a unique opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the common faith of Christians, as expressed in the Creed formulated during this Council; a faith that remains alive and fruitful in all the world. The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity 2025 invites Christians to draw on this shared heritage and to enter more deeply into the faith that unites all Christians. The prayers and reflections for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity were prepared by the brothers and sisters of the monastic community of Bose in northern Italy. The Canadian Council of Churches offers these resources that include prayers, reflections, and activities that can be used by individuals and/or groups. They can be found here: weekofprayer.ca

Please be mindful that Holy Trinity Parish is a scent-free environment; kindly avoid wearing perfumes or using scented products for the comfort of all.
