Dear Parish Family,
When you read this message, I will be safely in Kitchener, Ontario visiting my family, and Fr. Yves will be ministering back at Holy Trinity parish. Hopefully your summertime is going well as we come into the “Dog Days” of summer. I will have to Google that phrase, to learn where it came from.
Fr. Graham Keep is putting a fresh coat of paint in his bedroom at the Rectory, and is settling in for the year. Even though he will primarily be at St. Benedict Parish, I am sure you will see him from time to time at Holy Trinity. It will be good to have him living at the house with me and Fr. Yves.
Two quick updates for you:
Firstly, we sold out of our 33 Days to Eucharistic Glory books two weekends ago before the 11:15 Mass. So, we ordered some more. When they arrive, we will make them available again for those who still want to get the book at a reasonable price. It will be a wonderful way for us to prepare for the Eucharistic Congress in October.
Secondly, Fr. Yves and myself will be away for the Companions of the Cross Annual gathering at the end of August. So, from Tuesday, August 26 until Friday, August 29, there will be no Daily Mass at the parish. However, the Office will continue its normal hours.
Blessings to you in this season of two great Marian feasts; the Assumption on August 15 and the Queenship of Mary on August 22. May Our Blessed Mother help you by her most powerful intercession.
As the song goes “See you in September.”
Yours in Christ,
Fr. Tim
