Christmas Message from the Pastor
Dear Parish Family,
Merry Christmas! Fr. Yves, Manas and I pray that all of you will receive many special graces during these twelve days of Christmas. Instead of three French hens today, I hope you receive a blessed increase of faith, hope and love from on high.
I have really enjoyed my first Christmas with you. Fr. Yves, Manas and I would like to thank all who generously gave us cards, gifts, food and well wishes. We are still working our way through all of the goodies.
Christmas takes a lot of people volunteering their gifts and time. From the ministers of Holy Communion, musicians, lectors, sacristans, altar servers, ushers, greeters, live stream team, slide projection, sound system operators, chair setup, parking lot attendants, decorators etc.; many, many thanks. We couldn’t have done it without all of you. As well, Sarah Pickup directed several of our parish children in a beautiful and joyful Christmas Pageant on Saturday, December 16. Hopefully we can do this again next year with even more attendance. It definitely got all who were there into the Christmas Spirit. We certainly have some rising stars among our young parishioners; quite literally.
Blessings to all of you as we finish out our year of 2023 with the Feast of the Holy Family. With the help of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, may all families find strength in their struggles, hope amid discouragements and setbacks, and true peace with one another.
Sincerely in Christ,
